Celebrating Art & Artists
Brazilian Visual Arts has been one of the pinnacles of Brazilian’s expression of creativity, imagination, quality and success all over the world, especially after the breakthrough of the “Modern Art Week of 1922”.
The way it has been referenced in Brazil, the “Week of 1922”, represents the revolutionary movement that introduced the Modernism movement, and disrupted the sitting conservatism within the Brazilian artistic environment.
The United States is the largest market for visual arts in the world, responsible alone for more than 60% of all art sold on the planet. The History of Brazilian Arts in the US is under continuing discovery and prominent success.
Created in 2015, the “Visual Arts Awards” had been the answer to consolidate the Brazilian art & artists currently residing in United States.
Its mission is to promote local Brazilians artists or art related business, including solo and group exhibitions, galleries, art venues, art fairs, etc. It also aims to bring individual artists directly from Brazil to participate in an exhibition or art event. Our goal is to encourage and give these artists incentive to keep growing and shining.
On the footsteps of the 21 years of celebrated Brazilian International Press Awards, the Visual Arts Awards was an instant success and it is growing continuously.
From its entire process of nominee selections to the final choice of winners, The Visual Art Awards has evolved into an artist-inspired environment.
